GreenPower II (v. 2.0.114) Crashes

I have an MSI Eclipse SLI motherboard, Windows XP SP-3, 4 MB RAM, Intel Core i7 920, ATI Radeon HD 4850.

I installed GreenPower II v. 2.0.114 over the old version and the program always crashes upon launching it.  I have also tried a clean install (i.e. after having uninstalled the old version first) and the program still crashes.  The old version of GreenPower II works just fine...

Anybody else having this problem?  Any solutions?

I don't think that I absolutely need to have the newest software release installed, but I am just curious to know what the deal is.

v ...114 initialised ONCE for me... and then no longer worked even after uninstall-reinstall. Note that it also messes with the services used by overclockcenter as well, so if you uninstall it you will need to recreate the greenpowerII directory and make a duplicate copy of all the overclockcenter files there sicne overclockcenter and the related services will access files in both locations depending on what greenpowerII changed in the registry (its the simple solution - simpler than finding the registry edits at least!).

So much of you have this issue,did you pass these messages to  MSI's OCSS.I access MSI site and only can find GreenPower V2.0.112.http://asia.msi.com/index.php?func=downloaddetail&type=utility&maincat_no=1&prod_no=1695
Where do you get V2.0.114?  :think:

As a matter of fact I did open a ticket with MSI this past Friday.  They replied about ten minutes later (wow!!) suggesting that I re-install my operating system and then re-apply v. 2.0.114...  <sigh>

GreenPowerII v.2.0.115 is up on the MSI FTP server.  The change log states that it fixed problems with 7520 (Eclipse).  Tested and so far so good.  Still haven't got a reply for my service ticket though? :think:
