I have had this laptop since April of 2017 and about a month ago the internal battery swelled so bad it popped open the case. It was running a little warm prior to this but was told thats normal for this laptop. I removed the unstable battery and checked function with just plugging it in. Worked fine until 2 weeks afterwards and it started overheating when I played my fav game, World of Warships. I since have applied thermal paste and replaced the internal battery. It ran the game but still overheats after about 5 mins. I have it set to balanced with process power mgmt with max processor state at 95%. Cooling is toggled on for both battery and being plugged in. So, what can I do next? What is the most recent version of Dragon Center, where can I download a safe copy and will it help? Bios seems updated but is there a way to use it to fix overheating? Also this laptop has cooler boost 3 but there is no key to activate it, is there a key combination? I unfortunately dont have the disc anymore, it was lost in a move. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I

I already went here and the dragon center does not have any options to control the fans.
That's odd, every DC should have user scenario or advanced to control fans.
Have you uninstalled and installed again?
