Hi all,

So yesterday I had a weird issue that my WLAN adapter randomly crashed while browsing. Device manager mentioned error code 10.
I thought resetting the BIOS settings would fix this issue. So I went in the BIOS, did a "Load Optimized Defaults", saved and exited.

Now the notebook won't start up anymore. When I press the power button, the power LED light lights up white and then goes to amber forever. I hear the fans spinning up, but the screen remains black. Also the keyboard backlight won't light up.

How can I fix this issue, please?

I've already tried the following:
- Connecting to an external monitor
- Holding the power button for +3 min
- Resetting the battery through the battery reset button on the back
- Pressing DEL or any of the Fxx keys don't do anything

Open laptop, remove power battery, remove CMOS battery, remove RAM, try EC reset, re install everything then hold power button 20-30 seconds, plug in again and turn on laptop.

This breaks the warranty seal. I'd rather not do that... Is doing an EC reset not basically the same?
