Well just recently I realized that the left speaker (dynaudio) in my msi gt660 wasn't working, not entirely sure how long it was that way.  But I reinstall the realtek hd audio driver and then the sub woofer doesnt work but the left speaker is fine, so then again I reinstall and everything works fine, but after a while the left speaker starts jumping in and out and eventually just stops so again I reinstall and the same thing (sub stops, left is fine and then reinstall and it's good) and then again starts jumping in and out until it stops altogether! and here I am  :undecided:

So the missing sound is alternating from left speaker to subwoofer? If this is the case, I suspect the sound chip may be faulty.

Do RMA the laptop if it's still under warranty.

yeah, but it only switches when I reinstall the drivers the first time not when I'm actually using it.  I'll have to look for the papers to see if my warranty is still good...
