GT683R Webcam not found?

I just got my GT683R notebook from newegg today from UPS and everything works perfectly except my computer can't detect any camera device? The web-cam is built in and I can physically see it. Are there drivers I can install to fix this? Thanks.
 
Good lord!! Is it turned on??? Thanks mate! :) It sounds really stupid, in retrospect, but until I read your post and really *looked* at my keyboard I didn't realise you could turn off or on the webcam :)

Of course you could have always read the manual that came with it :bonk:, but at least its resolved now! :laugh:

I have to agree with Wayne! I didn't realize this either. I was well into my quest for MSI then OS drivers! Thanks!
 
actually, my manual didn't say anything about any shortcut to turn on the webcam : /
i just randomly found the webcam doodle on my F5 key after around 40min of searching around the web :P

lmao. we tried to find things on the internet then we came onto this...read that & i looked at the keyboard....it's the F6 button!
