GT73VR 6RE-034 - Sound Issues. Muddy/Distorted

Hi All,

Recently spent a lot on a  GT73VR 6RE gaming laptop - and from day one there seems to be issues with the sound. Quite often it sounds muddy/muffled/distant/distorted.

I am not a tech-expert in any way - so have tried to update the sound drivers, this hasn't changed anything, 

I have researched this online and was suggested a solution of turning off any sound enhancements - the soundcard I have doesn't seem to show this 'tab' so there is nothing I can do there...

Any ideas would be great?

Did you update the system by [Windows Update]?
 
You could update latest Nahimic with following steps.
(1) Download latest audio driver and Nahimic from MSI website
(2) Remove the old Nahimic and reboot the system.
(3) Remove the old audio driver and reboot the system.
(4) Install new audio driver and reboot the system.
(5) Install new Nahimic and reboot the system
 

Anyway, I would suggest exporting system info by latest Help Desk and post them in here. Maybe someone could help check the software environment.

I actually spotted about updating this just after I posted on the forum,

I have done all of your steps and it seems to have solved the problem!
