Two days ago I received my new GT75 8RG-016NL with following specs:
CPU: i7-8750H @3.9GHz (overclockable up to 4.1GHz on all cores)
GPU: nvidia gtx1080
Others: 120Hz 1080p g-sync screen, 2x256GB Samsung nvme SSD's in RAID, 1TB HDD, Killer wifi 1550, Nahimic 3, mechanical per-key RGB keyboard,...

The performance is amazing despite being on stock settings and thermal pastes. There is no undervolt applied to the cpu. With a little tweaking to the fans in dragon center the temps are acceptable and stay below/around 80 degrees even with ambient temperature of 25 degrees celsius. All of this is accompanied by some borderline acceptable noise (coolerbooster should be about 62-64 dB based on reviews and I would say my advanced settings are a lot better than the jet noise the max fans produce). Sadly I cannot measure the precise levels as I do not have the equipment and my phone suffers from noise cancelling interference resulting in low readings on constant noise.

The gaming experience so far has been breath-taking. I play Assassin's Creed: Origins and on ultra settings I get anywhere from 60-90 fps depending on area. I will let the photos and videos speak for themselves.
Very happy with the laptop, good job MSI.

Congratulate to get such badass gear....
The noise level of fans could be ignored if you will play games with the headset as same as me.:hiha:

GT75 sounds like a complete beast. But would you rather go for a desktop instead?
Yeah. If you travel a whole lot and you have the muscle to carry it around it will be amazing. But I only travel abroad about 2 times a year for a week each time and it is not very practical to take to uni with me as I found out. It's loud when gaming no matter what you do (not very loud but definitely not a silent gaming pc which I would have loved).
Also it is not sellable at all where I live, people think 1000 euro is already very expensive for a second hand laptop, but the thing is over 3000 euro new so no way would I sell it for less than around 2500 as there is literally nothing wrong with it.
So yeah if I could have a do-over I'd get a nice water-cooled gaming pc and a cheapish 15 inch laptop with 1050ti or even lower for on the go. But that is literally only because I actually don't travel enough. It's an amazing laptop by all means.

This is really powerful at this moment.
If I could afford one, I'll go for it!

The MSI GT75 is a high-quality, well equipped and incredibly powerful desktop replacement.
