GTA5 retail packing hands on!! It comes with 7 DVDs, 1 map of "The City of Los Santos" and installation guide with online code.
Although it's digital world with online gaming generation, but I still like to buy the retail packing of few real hard core games!!
When did you get a retail pack or game title last time? Show me your photos!!

I got it yesterday! Really mad 7 discs. But issues with internet so cant download 4gb update yet...

I usually buy retail boxes, especially when I know the game is worth it! Last game Crysis 3, bought it 2 weeks ago.

its usually easier to buy a retail box of a very big sized game like GTA5 as the install is enormous and like for me to download the full game would take all day or a 30mins trip to a shop and then take 1-3 hours patching it!

just depends on the size of a game really for its install!

the game is quite popular in Europe~~~may I know where can buy the best price for English version~~ :undecided:

Game is new. What you see online are best prices. English version? UK you mean? Game.co.uk :)
5gb patch is annoying anyway..

I heard cheapest in NL , $39 retail box but limit qty, I didn't get one....
Wondering how's the number to play it with MSI NB

I think this is really stupid after I installed 7 DVDs but still need to download 60GB update, but the problem was made by the publishers, this will not impact my enthusiast passion to buy retail pack on upcoming top game titles, that still feels good after years to see your own collection of games!

I played for 20 more hours, it's a bad game because once you start to play, you can't leave this game!! @@"

Really great game, very interesting and so much things to do. Graphics good, optimization not bad (if you have 2 gb gpu at least) but PROBLEM is installing the 60 GB.

that's the mark of a very good game where its addictive and you just keep playing all day long! (alot of more recent games i will play for all of 2 hours and get bored) GTA 5 is i have no sleep for 3 days upon getting it!

I started playing this from the times of GTA-3. Then moved to Vice City and then San Andreas. I've bought GTA-5 after a long break but couldn't get time to play it enough. Work!
Now that I am back to college, I am planning to get stuck to my NB for it! :) ;)

Since GTA3? I still  have retail "box" of GTA and GTA 2 too ;)

I still buy mainly Retail Discs, why because there is a simple draw back on Digital Downloads if you have a sub 5mb connection.

I bought GTA V in retail which weighed in at a whooping 60GB over 7 DVD's if that was digital it would of taken 4-5 days just to download it if the CDN servers didn't keep crashing.

I also buy certain Games on retail box as its part of a collection for Example my Battlefield Series Collection or ARMA.

I just hope that Retail box copies stay around for the time being at least until i can get a decent Copper Line or Fiber connection.

My last game i got in Retail Box format was GTA V. But will be getting more this year if the PC Gaming shelfs are retail outlets don't get any smaller (Gone are the days of PC games taking half a store, your now lucky if its just half a shelve now a days.)

Doesn't matter how you get the game, your problem will most likely be getting the game to run in the first place...
I absolutely HATE HATE HATE Rockstar Social Club..., it will probably be your main problem getting the game to run...
Rockstar makes wonderful games, but they have the most clueless technical support team...
they will make tickets and apologize very nicely about your problems... then proceed to direct you to unhelpful links on the Rockstar tech site...
I've finally got everything to run smoothly after a few weeks, but it was all my persistence to find the answers to my problems on my own!
Don't expect much help from Rockstar!

now to go back to work and try to get LA-Noire to run again...
