gtx 1070 is not default display adapter GE62MVR 7rg

hey folks,
i need a hand as i cannot for the life of me to get the gtx1070 to work for "Ashes Of The Singularity" i keep seeing the i-7 IGPU, and even in dx12 i cannot go multi-gpu (though that *does* work for "The Witcher 3" and "Mass Effect: Andromeda". 
if i disable the igpu display adapter, it goes to an even more primitive intel display adapter.
 
Use latest Help Desk to export the system info and post the text information in here.
 

Besides, you don?t need to disable iGPU manually. I would recommend using the program settings in Nvidia Control Panel and assign the Nvidia GPU to run your games.
 
thanks. i stumbled across the (nvidia) control panel while scouring my C:
still having probs with Ashes of the Singularity, but i think that's more to do with their game engine
