Hi, I've just bought this grahic card and I'm disappointed that the minimum fan speed is blocked at 40% (1500rpm) in idle. I cannot change it in the Afterburner settings neither. This is too noisy for me. Is there a way to decrease under 1500rpm to 500 or 800rpm to have a silent card in idle?

 Thank your help.  Fred.

No, that is the way the very compact size cooling solution of this card is meant to work.

Thanks for your fast answer.
Too bad Msi doesn't mention it in the specs or overview. Would have avoided me to return the product.

Well, it is the other way round. If your desired feature is not mentioned why do you buy then? Gaming series cards for example are marketed for and using Zero Frozr function which stops fans below 60?C.

Because it is dumb. I flash the gaming x bios, set the fan to 26% idle/ 900rpm and the temps are literelly the same. Ofc it's not recommended but you can get the idea. And It's much more quiet now

And you have no warranty anymore. Buying an original Gaming series card would have made more sense.
