Hello

Im looking for a UEFI bios for the gtx 670 from may 10, 2012.
I know it's an old one. But cant afford a better one right now.
Online i didnt find a bios for this specific gtx 670 that supports uefi. But other 670 bios that support uefi.
Could someone tell me where i can get it or mod my bios so it works for uefi?

The S/N is corrupted, important data is missing.
Check again and post the full S/N (you can skip the last 3 digits)

I don't have another one this long on the Graphics card.
Where should it be located?

I added it to the Google drive and attached it to this answer. I hope any of it works.

Means is not standard retail MSI GPU.

Anyways, the closely matched that you can try (at own risk) is this one:
or this:

Could someone tell me where

Only from your OEM vendor.
We don't provide any vbioses here officially.
Any use is at own risk.

Okay i see.
Thanks for the information's!

Any recommendations on what to look at so i can get the safest for choosing the bios?
My card has only a DVI, HDMI port, the bios message is the same "GK104 P2004 SKU 0005 VGA", Board id and device id is the same and as sub-vendor it's saying MSI in GPU-Z.
The subsystem in the bios from you is 1462 2846. But the one form my card is 1462 2821. Is that a problem?

So i would choose the MSI bios from the two you suggested.

So i installed it. I rebooted the pc with the windows reboot button and it worked. In GPU Z it showed me the uefi function. As i turned off the pc completely and restarted it now just shows me the windows boot loading thing and goes black. So it must be the wrong one even tho it worked the first time?

Also i dont have an integrated gpu but i can display the bios.

Can't say, it may need GPU driver reinstallation or that vbios to be not 100% compatible.
Or may need new fresh OS installation.

i uninstalled the video drivers and now gpu z looks like this. Also gforce experience is saying it cant get installed on this system configuration.
Should i try manually installing the newest driver or is that clearly a incompatibility of the bios?

[Edit]So i dont really know what happened. I manually installed the driver and the screen went black. Then i force shutdown my pc and now it seems to be working.

Hey everyone,

For the small chance someone else is trying to unlock UEFI on an older GPU, I wanted to share my experience and give an update.

After spending hours trying to make another BIOS work, I realized it wasn’t stable. Instead, I decided to modify my original BIOS, and here’s how I did it:

  1. Download the Tool: I used a program called GOPupd. Be aware that Windows and most browsers will flag it as a virus, but it's a false positive. I verified its safety using VirusTotal and similar tools.
  2. Prepare Your Original BIOS: If you haven’t already, use GPU-Z to download your card’s original BIOS.
  3. Modify the BIOS:
    1. 1. Drag and drop your BIOS file into the GOPupd.bat script.
  4. 2. When prompted, press Y to add UEFI mode.
  5. 3. Select the correct architecture (use Google or ChatGPT if you're unsure).
  6. 4. Press Y again, and the program will generate a new BIOS file in the same folder.
  7. Flash the New BIOS: Use your preferred flashing tool to flash the modified BIOS onto your card. Restart your PC, and you’re done!
It worked perfectly for me in under 5 minutes! Hope this helps anyone else tackling the same issue. Let me know if you have questions.
