Hello,

I'm using Forceware 177.26 and when I play CoD4, after a lap of time, powermiser switch to low 3D performance, so my fps drop, 50 % or more lost.
On http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/ some people says how to disable powermiser but I don't want my laptop to use full power all the time, it's a waste of energy, so does somebody have any solution ?

Second question, does opening my laptop to clean heatsink and fan avoid warranty (France) ? Because while playing, GPU (8600m gt) temperature reach 86?C and processor 85-95 ?C (T7300 2GHz). The fan is doing an abnormal noise too, like when a HDD is scratching.

Thanks
Nahouhak

I solved a part of my problem, there is only a plastic to remove to access to both RAM and fan/heatsink, so it don't avoid warranty. Warranty is avoid only if I remove the rest where you need to remove a sticker noted "warranty void if removed" to access to a screw.

For powermiser, maybe this the overheat fault, I keep searching.
