GX600 Touchpad no longer working

Had my GX600 since february & now the touchpad isnt working.
I have disabled it from time to time using Fn & F3 but now it wont respond at all, the left/right click buttons dont work either

Any ideas anyone? i wouldnt have to disable totally it if i could disable just the tap to click

Try the cold reboot.

Unplug and disconnect the battery, if that still does not work, install and uninstall the System Control Manager.
