Hi,
Ive got problem with getting 5.1 sound with my external Geniuses (home theater 5.1) on gx620 notebook. Ive downloaded last realtek drivers for vista ALC888S and when i run test Im hearing all the 5 speakers and the subwoofer as well. When i want to play some music (mp3's) or watch a movie (AC3 avi's) in BSPlayer, JetAudio or even in WMP just 2 front speakers are playing. Ive tried downloading all the other drivers for most of the msi notebooks but always the same result. Im running x64 ultimate vista SP1 and i have Vista codec pack x86 with x64 components (properly set AC3Filter for 5.1 output and Audio dekoder for regular mp3's as well set for 5.1 output). Moreover in JetAudio exists a feuture enabling multichannel output so you'll get stereo output on all of yours 5.1 speakers while playing mp3's). All of that is set and done and even though I just cant get 5.1 sound anywhere else than in realtek sound test. Im desperate. any suggestions plz ?
Thx in advance for any replies ...
