I've recently purchased MSI GX700 Performance edition and found an intresting problem: I can't choose any other refresh rate than 59Hz.
It's annoying, but I still can play games and so-on I just have to edit game preferences... But it is relly annoying.
Any1 else having same problems? I have searched a lot and almost all laptop manufacturers has same kind of problems and atleast DELL has replaced whole laptop as it is clealy broken.
As drivers I have all the latest MSI drivers and as graphics drivers I have 169.28 forceware from laptopvideo2go. Thanks in advance.

Actually it does. When I'm trying to play... let's say Sins Of Solar Empire without editing it's configs I can't change resolution because it does not recognize 59Hz refresh rates.

I don't think any other refresh rates are available. Mine always detects and displays 59 Hz.

Never had a problem with it though.

I have 59hz too and it should be atleast 60hz for Battlefield 2 to work so if someone has a solution to this I would be really happy. :)

If you think that can help to solve the problem with Battlefield, just go to Nvidia Control panel and define your custom refresh rate for desired resolution.

I would visit the Battlefield forums and support pages as well. You may be able to set a launch parameter to force a certain refresh rate.  Many games came be configured for special launch options(may be a special parameter set in the target field).
