GX700

[dave_boo]

Can anybody confirm or deny wether or not the GX700 supplies 12v to the SATA power connector?

What is the point of your question?  Do you have a problem with your SATA hard drive?

Actually, I was trying to see wether or not a Velociraptor would be supported.....

The 5v rail supports the draw a Velociraptor would demand of the system, but if there is no 12v supplied it's a non-starter.

No, the Velociraptors will not work in any notebook, they are designed for enterprise class servers which use 2.5" drives.

Notebook drives are currently only powered by 5v rail.

I thought laptops where 5V only too, but never seen a Laptop sata outside the case yet.
Thanks for the link Stu
