Well I have a GX780 and the same issue occurs with my touchpad as those with the GT780R and GT683R.
I have to say this is not what I expected from MSI... why on earth did MSI select Sentelic for laptops designed for people who play games and need a reliable experience?
For your information I have tried the latest drivers you have listed in that other thread and the experience was very unstable. I eventually found version 8.8.3.0 of the sentelic drivers and they are not as problematic. However I notice now that if I use the computer for more than 10 minutes it progressively gets worse. Any attempt to play a game becomes frustrating beyond measure as the touchpad develops a dead zone in the center. After exiting a game and trying to use the touchpad in windows it gets worse. Moving my finger edge to edge across a horizontal or vertical center of the pad results is random movements of the cursor. It often jumps half a screen back and forth while randomly clicking everything. I could only use about 1/10 of the pad to do anything and if I got close to the center suddenly it would jump forward and then back farther than I had started.
I used the registry patch provided in the other thread and it seems to have helped but not much. Still after 10 minutes my touchpad becomes unreliable, not registering touches, clicking while scrolling, developing dead zones and getting worse and worse.
Anyways this is quite an outrage. I've had this for just a month and it feels like it's already dying. Wish I could extract the touchpad from my old mac book pro and implant it into my GT780, that thing was flawless.
I need a solution fast as I can reboot every 10 minutes.
