Hi all,

I am curious if the H55M-E55 supports Intel's vt-d (IOMMU) technology? I cannot see any mention of it in MB features, but looking into the manual it is listed in the BIOS section.

If anybody has facts on the subject please share.

My plan is to run Ubuntu + KVM to virtualize a NAS (freenas with physical disks) and to virtualize VDR (pci dvb-c card).

Thanks

I'm here looking for the same answer. The BIOS doesn't show the option but the owner's manual says it does. Does it support vt-d and will updating the BIOS allow it to be turned on?

It is most probably enabled by default, but still depends on the CPU installed.

Try this utility in Windows, SecurAble:

That will tell you what you need to know. ;)
