then i tryed my audio drivers in which i get this message.

also whilst im here, when i power up my computer, it all turns on for around 3 seconds then it switches off, repeats this then on the 3rd try it boots all the way :S.

any help with these problems would be much appreciated

If you have EuP 2013 enabled in bios Power Management, that can cause the mock double boot. Disable it. A double boot is not uncommon when settings or hardware are being changed. It should stop that after the second restart as long as nothing else has been changed again.

Faulty SATA cable, optical drive, install disc itself? Drivers can be downloaded, (usually more up to date anyway) from the Global MSI Website for your board. Might give that a try. :-))

Did your PC came with Windows XP/Vista? If so you will need to download Windows 7 Drivers.

Your advice makes no sense.

Anyway, the topic starter already said he's using Windows 7 x64.
