Hi,

I have been having this issue for a while now! My PC wont power up at all! Its not the power supply as its been checked separately and it worked fine. its a 550W power supply, so power is not an issue! This problem can happen at anytime! I am running BIOS version 1.6 on windows 7 64bit.
When the PC does eventually start up then I either get an A2 or 9C error!

here are my specs:

MSI H97 Gaming 3 Motherboard
MSI GTX970 4BG Graphics Card
GSkill 2*4GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM
Corsair 550W power supply
WD Blue 1TB Hard Drive
Intel i5-4690 CPU

Please Help!!!

A2 IDE Detect
9C USB Detect

have you done >>Clear CMOS Guide<< with power cord removed?

Does it worked before?

Have you tried to disconnect any storages include USB one?

What keyboard and mouse you are using?

Hi,

I have not cleared the CMOS, I don't know what that is. Ill give it a try.
I have tried disconnecting everything and seeing if it will start up but no luck!

I have a Roccat Isku FX Keyboard and a Roccat Kone XTD mouse.

Thanks,
Kevin

ok, it seems like clearing the CMOS did the trick! Ive got it up and running again!
Do you know what could have been the problem?

Thanks,
Kevin
