The good news is that the yellow 12vhpwr plug is doing its job of being visible, the bad news is that it's slipping despite being mounted correctly.

I hope MSI gets it right, as I've always had good experiences with MSI's products. But this one, I had to return, as I do not want check my 12vhpwr on a monthly basis for the next 10+ years

To begin with, you should not use the PSU for 10+ years :ROFLMAO:
Did you successfully return the PSU though? As far as I can tell, it doesn't look like a solid reason for refund or RMA.
If that <1mm gap can really cause damage to the connector, you should observe more cases regarding the on fire card.

hmm, american? uneducated lolkid? sounds like you don't have any consumer protection built into law. I can return any online purchase within 14 days of receiving it, no questions asked - even if I unbox or break seals. I'm protected against manufacturing errors too during the entire warranty period, no need for a private lawsuit. My previous 1000w PSU have been running for 10+, over multiple builds, starting with a dual GPU build for the initial release of FFXIV Online. No instability whatsoever, could even handle the transient spikes from the new cards without instability. Which it can because I prioritize buying/supporting brands that build quality. Only reason I'm swapping PSU's is because it's well over it's 10 year warranty and because of the idiotic 12vhpwr connectors.

You probably think you have to buy a new PSU for each upgrade :ROFLMAO:

Anyway, I'm actually heading out to return the MSI (with a full refund, no RMA needed) ;)

Well, good for you  since you claim the product is still within the 14 days no question ask return, i guess you don't really have any problem with PSU but just here to whine.
