Just found this amazing utility and so far this appears to be a viable alternative to MSI Centre M.

The only thing I did not like initially was highjacking of the xbox button, but found that this is completely customizable, you can even launch the app and/or quick settings with the MSI button.
It does everything the MSI Centre M does (controller settings, desktop model, TDP control etc) and more (full gyro support, individual game profiles etc).
