G2 Series - HDD intermittently not being recognized . . . anyone else have this issue or can share a resolution to the problem?  Basically, sometimes when I boot up the hard drive is recognized and other times, particularly after trying to install software, the hard drive is no longer showing.  I'm using the windows explorer to determine if it is there or not be even using the disk management or device manager it disappears.  Running on Windows 10 with a SSD as primary drive.  I have rebooted soft and hard without any luck of getting it to be recognized but I complete powered down over night and the next day it recognized for a short period of time.  It seems to do it when I'm trying to load software.

I'm not sure what else to write but I have to have something apparently to qualify for the 350 word minimum posting requirement.  Rather silly, I would think the less words the better but what do I know, right?  So on I ramble with no apparent clue of how many words this rambling equates too but hopefully I'm getting close to the 350 because I'm a man of little words.    So on I ramble with no apparent clue of how many words this rambling equates too but hopefully I'm getting close to the 350 because I'm a man of little words.

Intermittent connection is usually caused by the drive not being seated correctly, or a faulty cable.
Power off.  Remove power cable.  Wait for any residual charge to dissipate.
Check the SATA cable (if it has one) connecting the disk to motherboard.  Check the power cable to the disk.
Unplug and plug in again firmly being sure it is a snug fit.  If any doubt, use another data cable or another power cable, if a spare is available.
Reconnect power, power on.  Check if stable or not.

If the problem persists, try the disk in another computer or using an external SATA to USB connector to prove the disk is ok.
