HDD LED on Promise RAID not working

How do I get it to work?
Specs as in my sig. I read that maybe I should invert it... anyone get it to work successfully?

Hi

Promise Raid, I think the problem has been the VIA raid does not operate HDD led, the promise Raid does operate it AFAIK

it's not alive on my setup... and my samsungs are so quiet i can't even hear them over the fans in my case. maybe someone knows a trick...

My led runs fine. Just invert the HDD led cable leading from the case (ie switch + and -) and everything should work fine. I had the same problem with the board in my Chieftec case, but after I inverted it it worked.

Do you mean VIA or Promise? Does the led work if I use VIA and invert the + and - ?
