Please, calling all memory experts for some help. I would like to run 4 modules on my X870E Godlike. Is it possible, are there any ? I know it depends on the IMC and the CPU infinity fabric and the memory controller and silicon lottery. I also understand some RAM are single sided not dual sided. But here in this video, Game Tech Reviews he demonstrates this kit G.SKILL Trident Z Neo RGB Series (AMD Expo) DDR5 RAM 48GB (2X24GB) 6400MT/s CL32-39-39-102 1.35V. However i don't need 96GB. Maybe two kits of a 2X16GB and CL26 timings if it's possible. The kit he uses on MSI Memory compatibility says its single not dual. So can anyone help me find some ? if you look at barcodes on box cover, there is EAN and next under mention month, for me it says JAN.
Can you help me with Godlike M.2 drive placement. I'm looking to buy PCI-E 5.0. but I know the M.2_4 should be avoided because it has 2X speed shared with USB4 ? What about the M.2_2. Someone on YouTube comment told me that also works at PCI-E 2X ? I don't know. I need to see how many PCIE-4 and 5 slots are on the board. For now I only want to run 2 drives. Preferably both PCIE-5. Like the Samsung 9100 Pro. Can I run any of the drives at highest speed in any of the slots ?

Oh cool so your using a Gen5 in 2_1. Is the 990 Evo Plus a hybrid drive able to switch between PCI-E 4.0 and 5.0 ? It looks like it's built to run at Gen 4.0 4X and switch to PCI-E Gen 5.0 2X. What are those XPG Gammix like. Are they RGB Gen 4.0 drives ?

No, 990 Pro in M2_1 is Gen4 drive.
Exactly 990 Evo Plus is hybrid gen4 drive that have gen4 x4 and gen5 x2 interface.

No, XPG gamix are older regular gen4 drives and little bit buggy, I will be replacing them later and use them in wife rig jus as cache for unimportant data. They tend to bug and loose NAND, then it shows as some 2GB partition you cant use. Happened on my 4TB but as I was gona replace it two weeks later it somehow recovered, but I dont trust them anymore.
XPG Gamix S70 disapears and shows as MN-5236

Just not decided what I will use instead of them, either another cheap EVO Plus or Kingston FURY Renegade for extra endurance, 4000TBW vs usual 2400TBW.
Eventualy Seagate FireCuda 530R 4TB with 5050TBW is another option if can get it on sale.

Not realy interested in gen5 drives, double price and just little bit more performance.

I think I might be going for the 990 Pro with RGB heatsink 2TB in 2_1slot for OS Windows 11 being the quickest Gen4 drive to date. As you said it's not really worth it for the price and little extra performance ? I might go for the 990 Evo Plus 2TB for the 2_2 slot. Saying that about price Vs performance, if the 9100 Pro or Evo Plus had a RGB heatsink I would have gone for a 2TB version of them in the 2_1, 2_2 I in that order.

Whats the point in RGB heatsink when you already have nvme heatsinks on motherboard?
Primary one is even with built in RGB:
