Hello,

I have a motherboard msi z690 tomahawk ddr5 with a processor intel 14900k.
Graphic card : Rtx 4090.
My pc case is a corsair 7000d rgb and is very large and well ventilated.
I think i have a good watercooling, it's an corsair icue h170i (420mn) elite capellix.
Ram ddr5 64go (32x2) 6400mhz c32 Gskill.
Pc power supply : Be quiet 1500 watts platinium.
M.2 samsung 990 pro 2tb.

With this pc, can you give me a good configuration of my 14900k to have very good performances without burning the processor?

I change my 12700k for the 14900k tomorrow.

If you have examples, I'm interested.

Thank you.

First, i would do everything in the BIOS, and i would use the method i describe in my guide, it's a bit more biased towards the higher load states (and thus easier to stress-test for stability than a "regular" undervolt), as well as giving great results where it matters most.

All-core OC is mostly useful for better benchmark results, not so much for real-world performance in normal daily use. I would certainly not overclock a 14900K whatsoever, it has been pushed very hard by Intel already. Because whatever miniscule overclocking potential you exploit, you take away directly from its undervolting potential. These are basically two sides of the same coin. Either you keep the same voltage or add voltage to be able to overclock (with the power draw -> heat -> temperatures very quickly getting out of hand), or you actually try to take some pressure out of this highly stressed system by trying to undervolt a little. Heck, the 14900K (and definitely the -KS) would arguably turn into a more efficient and well-mannered CPU once you'd underclock them a little, on top of undervolting, that's how much they run on the limit already from factory.
