So I just recently received a Codex R2 pre-built for christmas from my Wife, it seemed to be good at first until a few days later, it started freezing and crashing. BSODs constantly for reason such as, KMODE Exception Not Handled, Kernal Heap Corruption, and MWAC.sys however I know where MWAC is from so no issues in that department. I try to load into the BIOS to check if anything in there is off, and 5 seconds later frozen. I attempt to run any diagnostics and CHKDSK thru the BIOS to which that fails too and freezes everything. At some points, windows attempts an automatic repair and it fails which I expect. Could this issue be regarding any corrupted system files? Perhaps something with the parts in my PC? I know some people could definitely help me out with this.

Well, normally I would list all the usual troubleshooting hints like I just posted here for example, but this apparently being a brand new PC, it's really up to MSI to deliver a solution for you. Unlike when building your own PC, when you get a pre-built one, you pay extra for them doing all the "dirty work" and delivering a convenient experience. This then of course should extend to the time when you encounter serious problems with the PC. So I'd open a ticket with MSI and see what kind of solution they can offer.

This sounds like a rather serious instability you got going on there, nothing you can solve with repairing system files or anything. This is a low-level issue that has little to do with Windows.

Let me ask you this, if the PC was on for a while (just letting it sit there), and then you enter the BIOS, what CPU temperature is shown there? Ideally take a photo of the BIOS screen so we also see some of the components. And tell us the exact model of the Codex R2, it should be written on a sticker somewhere.

Also, the thread title would be better like "Getting BSODs with new Codex R2" or something.
