Help with EZ Debug VGA LED

Hey, I have a new build from a couple of weeks back where on occasion (~5% of the time?) the EZ Debug VGA LED will stay lit after boot. As far as I can tell everything is working 100% normally when this happens and rebooting will cause the light to go off.

Can anyone help me understand what might be causing this and whether I should be concerned about any of my components.

I have MSI B550 Gaming Edge Wifi motherboard and an ASUS 2070S Dual.

Hi
Generally speaking, if it boots and you can use it, that's good. And indicates it might be some BIOS bug. I suggest you report it to MSI: >>How to contact MSI.<<

I had this issue, was concerning. However I flashed the latest motherboard BIO and have not had the issue since.

Thanks, glad to know someone else has had the same thing!

MSI support also suggesting flashing the BIOS, which I have done. Will post again in a few days if it resolved the issue.

Hey bud, I have the same results.... at times the vga or boot led will remain even after the PC boots and all is working fine. In my case I have a separate issue where on reboot the pc wont boot and the vga light will light up. Same happens when the pc boots from hibernate mode. A second or third attempt at turning off and on again fixes the issue.

Here is my post if you have any suggestions?

I read your post and don't have any of your other symptoms. In my case everything seems to be working 100% apart from the debug lights showing spurious warnings.

Like I posted above I updated to the latest BIOS. I haven't seen it since then but as the issue was quite sporadic I'm not sure yet whether its solved.

I'm on 7C91v12 which I notice came out just a couple of days before your post, in case you had some older ones downloaded.
