Hifi mode doesn't work after pc mode

In the FAQ there is a question about Hifi mode not working after pc shutdown. Hifi won't work until you reset the system. The answer : Fixed in SMI F/W v145....

Wtf does that mean? Can anyone tell me how to solve the problem above?
