Hello guys.

I am facing a problem with my gaming msi laptop. An gf72 8re with intel i7-8750h en nvidia 1060.When i am playing games the temperature is going to 98 degrees and is very hot and because of that the performance drops really fast.Any ideeas how to fix this issue.
I have just changed the thermal paste yesterday because i thought is from that but nothing changes. The only thing i can lower the temperature is if a try to undevolt the cpu but i don't know if that is ok for the cpu.Maybe you have other solutions

Thank you in advance

Bro, are you sure for that repaste? You put it right on cpu/gpu and gpu memory controlers? After that, you can undervolt your cpu and its ok, dont worry. But if undervolt too much your system will just reboot nothing else/show BSOD or just restart. Than try to change settings and when your system is stable thats all. Ofc, you can lower your turbo clock (but will lose some performance) And after all, if this not help, open and put liquid metal on your cpu. That will fix your temps for sure 😁🤘
