Hi everyone,
I bought my MSI Optix G241 in 2022, and recently I started getting 1px horizontal lines and text distortion (cut-off fonts) at the very bottom of the screen.

Issue: Multiple 1px horizontal lines at the bottom; text/letters look cut off.
Color Sensitivity: Noticeable mostly on bright/vivid colors (like bright orange), but barely visible or not even visible on dark/grey backgrounds.
Refresh Rate: Worse at lower Hz (60Hz), slightly better at higher Hz.
Screenshots: Screenshots look completely fine (rules out GPU/Software).
Isolation: Tested across multiple OS (Linux/Win), cables (DP/HDMI), and different PCs. The issue persists everywhere.

Since all inputs and software are ruled out, this seems like panel/COF degradation over time.
Has anyone with this model experienced the same issue? Is the panel pretty much at the end of its lifespan, or is there any workaround?

Thanks!

It can happen with any monitor or electronic device. Your assumption seems legit so only rma would fix it. But of course with price because warranty had expired. I understand your feeling but there's no other suggestion to give.
