horizontal lines on bottom of display appearing and disappearing randomly

I didn't have to limit the nVidia refresh rate...
When using the iGPU at 60Hz, the problem is still there (much less visible, only 20% of the bottom of the taskbar). When switching to the nVidia, the issue completely disappear (not a single glitch).

That's why I think it's iGPU related and not linked to the display.

Hi.

I did this by following other posts regarding this issue with the same recommendation. But I do not have this option of 244hz, just 60 or 300. Anyway, it worked. I mean, with this settings, the black lines do not appear or are hidden enough to not bother me.

Thanks for the reply.

You can use descrite graphic mode to ise Nvida Gpu instant of dedicated intel with nvidia , and then from nvidia control panel you can creat custom resolution with any RFresh rate you want , or you can use Custom Resolution Utility "CRU APPLICATION " To creat custom resolution on dedicated card

Temp fix , i just reduced display refresh rate ro 244hz and also run my laptop with only nvidia graphics card
mine does this [***CENSORED***] off and on since after 7 monther mine is a ge76 msi raider 17" 360 hz 32 ram i711800h 3080 16gbvram and does same bullshit it so annoying i thought it was related to windows install that seemed to have other issues so didnt bother to try service now my 2.5 yrs warrenty is done and seems to be happening more always starts when im scrolling web most time

It only get worse from time to time. What was just three black lines is already 12, maybe 15. Terrible experience for such a great machine (and expensive)

Do you see the same problem in BIOS mode?
If so, it could be considered a hardware issue. Then contact the local service center for further inspection.
If not, use DDU tool to clean install Intel and Nvidia Graphics driver on MSI website for cross-check if it is caused by the specific graphics drivers.

Do you guys still get this issue? for me i get the exact same lines and when i try to reboot or shutdown. It is 50/50 if it shows up. It sometimes shows up in the bios sometimes it does not.

Try to do EC reset first, if it still shows up in BIOS, you should contact the service center for further assistance.
