How to know if all the drivers are downloaded and/or up to date?

Hello, i bought myself msi raider ge78hx 13v a week ago . I downloaded almost all of the drivers from its website. But, there were too many and i had no time so i gave a break. I have been using my laptop and feel like it is buggy sometimes. And i cannot remember which drivers i did not download. I feel like some necessary drivers are missing. Is there a way to check this?

That's a beautiful notebook and Expensive.

First off, you should install Intel Driver & Support Assistant:

Intel® Driver & Support Assistant

This application provides driver and software updates for your Intel hardware.

www.intel.com

Once installed, it will open in a Browser window (your default browser) and scan your notebook
for possible updates. Bluetooth , Thunderbolt , Wireless Lan , Intel Management Engine Driver ,
Killer LAN Driver , Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver , Intel Chipset Driver , Intel® Dynamic Tuning Driver ,
Intel® IPF Driver , Intel Serial IO Driver , IntelliGo APO Driver , Intel Smart Sound Technology driver , Intel MVA Driver
All of the above "should" be updated through the driver & support assistant that you just installed. You will be asked
to confirm if you want to install some or all. I would advise to install all. "You must be careful to notice that the
Notice to install will sometimes be UNDER the browser window." Look at the task bar and hover the cursor over the
browser window icon to reveal that there could be another app with the browser window, Click on the little app to
acknowledge the install action.

As for the other drivers, the Card Reader , and Realtek Audio Driver are from Realtek and should be updated by
Windows update.
Nahimic Audio - you will have to visit the MSI support page for your notebook and verify that there are drivers to
be updated.

Thank you @scorpiitec15e702ef for answer. Yes it is a really beautiful laptop. I have been waiting to buy a brand new laptop more than a year , I caught it on sale $3400. I will definitely try those when i get back home. I did not know there was option in msi center to update drivers. Probably, i only need intel assistant and msi center live update.

That's still Expensive but, it should last a long time if you take care of it.
I have a GT73 bought back in 2017 and it still is a very good machine.
My new one is a bit better but the old one just keeps on going.

I've used gf65 thin 10sdr for 3 years, i needed bigger screen and felt like time to move on rtx. I gave gf65 to my lil bro. 1660ti was still enough for me, i could use it for 3 more years, however 15,6" seems small. Msi is really high quality.

That's what I was afraid of, overwriting. I don't wanna download drivers multiple times.

The missing ones (killer lan, realtek cardreader, killer wireless lan, thunderbolt) you can find these on the intel site using the intel driver assistant tool. Some drivers intel does not provide via their awesome tool, for that you can use microsoft update catalog.

Offering outdated drivers, realtek audio for sample is already on 6.0.9567.1

I compaired the oem drivers vs intel, they are identical. There is no problem at all using the intel driver assistant. If you don’t use it Microsoft update will update the driver anyway 1-2 months later.

Microsoft is normally not that fast with the software components. But what realtek version did it send you ? i don't see that one.

Hi!
Do you know the old adage "If it ain't broke , don't fix it" well, this applies also to PCs and related peripherals.
I hope you get my meaning.
The first one is the Intel GPU on the CPU die (Processor) and Intel will tell you which one is to be installed through
their software that you have now been able to install. Always refer to this app for the
Official drivers for your notebook. Sometimes they might be a month latter but, this is because the driver for your
application is not in need of an update.

The other driver is for the Internet or Lan and WiFi Lan from Killer that was purchased by Intel from killer a while back.
You will also need to install it. IF it doesn't install , you can just ignore it for now as it will eventually install at a latter date.
OR you can simply click on the "learn more about this update" and it will bring you to the download page where if you prefer
you can download and install it manually . You also have the option to review which killer hardware this driver is for by looking
at the: Detailed Description. To see if this driver fits your version ,you might want to look at the Device Manager in
Control Panel and expand the
"Network Adapters" entry. This is what mine looks like and yours will be similar but, different version. Then, you can look
at the detailed description to see your version number. This is not necessary but, will give you a chance to familiarize yourself
with the hardware on your notebook.

OK so, remember my first post where I said that the installer might be hidden Under the browser
well, be sure to take a look if the progress bar on the browser page just scrolls across the popup.

Click on “i understand and wish to proceed”. The arc driver is a gpu driver. Install the driver only, application increases fan speed and temperature and keeps the secondary gpu permanently enabled.
