I've been looking into how to enable hYper V on my MSI X99S Gaming 7 motherboard for Windows 8.1. All the settings related to virtualization are enabled but when I look for Hyper V in Windows Features of my installation, I don't see anything related to Hyper V.

Intel VT* is enabled &
Intel VT-d is enabled

Should I disable the above?

Would there be potential consequences of being unable to reboot the machine from making these changes?

Hi,

Try this:

1 In Control Panel, tap or click Programs, then tap or click Programs and Features.

2 Click Turn Windows Features on or off.

3 Select Hyper?V, Click OK, then click Close.

4 Shut down your PC, then restart it.
