Hello,

PC information

  • PC model: MSI MAG Infinite S3 13E
  • Motherboard: MSI PRO H610M-G (MS-7D46)
  • System manufacturer: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd.
  • System SKU: B938.A
  • BIOS manufacturer: American Megatrends International, LLC.
  • BIOS version: EB938IMS.A60 / A.60
  • BIOS date: October 28, 2024
  • Operating system: Windows 11

Problem

In MSI Click BIOS 5, I have the following settings:

  • Boot Mode Select: UEFI
  • Security Device Support: Enabled
  • TPM Device Selection: fTPM 2.0
  • Secure Boot: Enabled
  • Secure Boot Mode: Standard / Custom
The TPM works correctly in Windows.

However, when I check msinfo32 in Windows, Secure Boot State is still shown as "Off".

In the BIOS, under Settings → Security → Secure Boot, the System Mode remains "Setup" instead of "User".

I tried to solve this by going to Key Management → Enroll All Factory Default Keys to install the Secure Boot keys.

However, when I select "Enroll All Factory Default Keys", the BIOS asks me to confirm. After selecting Yes, it then asks:

"Reboot without saving?"

If I select Yes, the PC restarts without saving the changes, so it seems that the keys are not actually installed.

If I select No, nothing happens and I remain in the BIOS.

Also, when I press F10 to save and exit, the BIOS says "You have not made any change", and the "Enroll All Factory Default Keys" action does not appear in the list of changes to be saved.

I also tried changing Secure Boot Mode from Standard to Custom, but this does not solve the problem. System Mode remains in Setup, and Windows still reports Secure Boot as disabled.

I have also checked MSI Center, but it does not offer any BIOS update.

My question

Could you please tell me exactly how I can properly install/provision the Secure Boot keys on this specific PC, and how I can make System Mode change from Setup to User, so that Windows correctly recognizes Secure Boot as enabled?

I do not want to manually flash a BIOS or change other BIOS settings unless I am certain that the procedure is correct for this specific prebuilt PC.

Thank you for your help.
