Its labeled as a Generic Display , i am looking for a manufacturers device so that it is specified. Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

That is normal and no problem but irrelevant. There is no software for this monitor anyway. All is done via it's built in OSD

Edit* Did incorrect quote, The above mentioned is the place for the MSI Shoutout?  This seems to be too complex.

The only reason is that in the Rewards section there is a Z170 post about a previous MSI Shout-Out and I feel like there should be a post for a current shout out.  I can show you a picture of the contest information if youd like.
