The board is old, the design of the voltage regulation is an older design and while it MAY work.....probably won't get the full potential out of that chip.....it doesn't support PCIe 4.0, so it won't make even close to full use of that chip.
While everyone complains about Intel's method of a new chipset every 2 years for their CPU's.....there's a pretty good reason for doing it. Things are advancing quicker, and by doing so it ensures the most compatibility and ensures you have the latest advances.
Personally, I would upgrade to a X570 board at least. Even one of the cheaper ones.
