Anyone else have a problem with one drive flagged as failed on a RAID array at startup?  I have two WD velociraptors on ports 1 and 2 on my XPower, configured as RAID0 on Windows 7 64.  After any reboot, the system loads fine but the Intel Rapid Storage Technology console always flags my second HD on port 1 as failed.  I know this can't be right as it is a RAID 0 array it shouldn't boot with a drive failed, correct?  All I have to do is click on the drive and "reset to normal" and then it shows the drive working as normal.  Anyone have any ideas?

Apart from this issue, any other issue on operation wise?

How about updating the Intel RAID driver to the latest version?

No real issues operational wise, and I have version 10.1.0.1008 of the Intel Rapid Storage technology installed, which I think is the latest.  The array functions normally, it's just that my drive on port 1 is always flagged as failed on a reboot, which is weird because it's a RAID 0 array.  It shouldn't boot with a failed drive, as far as I know.  Anyway as soon as I hit "reset disk to normal" all seems well, so I guess it's just more of an annoyance.

The only way to see if the drive is faulty or the RAID chipset is faulty is to try to reproduce the problem when the "faulty" disk is on standalone mode by itself, which is to say, boot with just that problematic disk alone.
