Hi all. I ordered a CIT impact case for my boy to build him a beginner pc from 2 others I had lying about.
Anyhow when installing the fan headers for the cpu and rgb fans I noticed this connector . Never saw one before and would like to know what it is. It was tied to the PWM connector which I have installed in sys-fan1 header
Motherboard is MSI A520-M-A Pro.

that is a ARGB Connector and your motherboard as its the Lowest end of that type of Chipset has no Extra things so has no RGB or ARGB Headers so you would need a ARGB Controller to use that at all

that connects on MSI Boards to a J_Rainbow Connector but your board does not have that

Hi thank you. Now I know lol.
The case has its own controller and the rgb is working fine. Using the button on the case or the msi software.Just never seen one before .

them like that with 3 Wires are normal ARGB (Addressable Red Green Blue) connectors that use 5V (they are Pinned with +5V, Data, No Pin, Ground) and can control each LED Separately so can do Effects like Breathing, Rainbow, Chasing ECT
if they have 4 Pins there 12V RGB Connectors and have all 4 pins to use 50/50 Style RGB LEDS (they are Pinned with +12V, Green, RED, Blue) and it treats them all as a Single Light so No Effects Possible.
