mother board MSI Z790 gaming plus wifi has an in board sound system. It worked perfectly on win 11 until a few days when there was a win update.
It still works perfectly on UBUNTU double boot.
The latest Realtek driver downloaded on MSI support doesn't seem to find where to set up as sound card is not detected by win11.
Bios has been successfully updated at the latest version (H70). Audio controler is activated in BIOS.
There was no obvious change in win11 except that update that I cannot uninstall. And we definitively have not a device breakdown, as it works on UBUNTU.
I checked a lot of things for hours under CAT GPT and Copilot guidance.
Has anyone an Idea of how to recover win11 detection of that in board card?
