In Need of a professional opinion on a component Upgrade

My Current System is : i7  875k 1156@3.6 GHz,on OC Genie- - P55 Big Bang-Fuzion (MS-7582)- -BIOS v1.5 --CORSAIR CMT4GX3M2A2133C9 4GB 2133MHz, 9-10-9-27, 1.65V, with Intel XMP -- NSI R5850 Twin Frozr II-- Real Power M520, with two WD Caviar Black 500 GB SATA Hard Drives ( WD5001AALS) in Raid 0

  The upgrade i've considered is an Intel 510 Series SSDSC2MH120A2K5 MLC Solid State drive but im after the full 6gb sarta III, there for iv purchased (MSI Star-USB3/SATA6 STAR-USB3/SATA6) - with has the Marvell 9128 SATA III controller i belive. the concern that bothers me a little is i would still like too raid both the Wd 500 drives in raid0 but only for back up n storge purposes only, runing off the p55 controller on the mother board there for installing the os on the ssd running on the Marvell 9128 sataIII controller on the (MSI Star-USB3/SATA6 STAR-USB3/SATA6).
Would this configeration be plausable with out confliction?

It should be fine.

Main thing in the BIOS is to make sure that you have enabled 'boot from other devices' as well as installation of the driver for the card.
