I have an "old" msi GE62 6QC Apache notebook that runs hoter than i like most of the time and i have done the bios uppdate and it improved it some but still not what i would like.

I Have read about something called "Msi silent option" that allowed you to increase the fan speeds. But i cant find the program anywhere now like its wanished from the world completely.

Is there some way i can increase my fan speeds no a mor resonable level?

I know i can push my turbo fan button but thats just to loud fore the most part. Would be nice with a happy medium beteen the turbo button and what the cumputer sets the fan speed to.

All my laptops with DC I can customize my fans.
Have you uninstalled the one you have and downloaded the one in the first link?
Low 90s in games is fine for CPU, for GPU it's a little on the high side.

Personally, I would most suggest you check the actual degrees of the CPU & GPU.
As the model you own has been out for a longer time, it's possible that the thermal grease needs a re-paste or clean the fan dust.

Using a fan control app will not provide much help if the higher temperature is given by the aging thermal paste.

Here you go the link for downloading the silent option app: Silent Option
Get the Silent Option V1.0.1603.3101 for your model.

A 90 to 95 degree of CPU running under heavy loads is common on MSI's notebook, as the processors are often set to the highest state by default, if you're looking for a temperature lower than that, you might want to set a lower performance for the CPU.

Got the new version of dragoncenter now from another msi laptop but it seems to work. I had the old version of dragon center before despitte that i have uppdated it not to long ago. That version didn't alow me to controll fan speeds:( the new one does so so far so good. Will se if i decide to replace thermal compund or if a better fan curve does the joob good enough for now.

Thanks for the help
