By searching a bit on the web, I came across this version 1.94 for our dear i225-V network cards. It is not an original firmware but modified it seems from the LM version. The link is here: Intel i225-V/LM NVM 1.94 FW personally tested it before proposing it. As you will see in the screenshot, there are no problems.
Updated this morning to 1.94, no more disconnect problems :D

I can’t figure out what firmware size (1 or 2 MB) I need?

nvmupdatew64e.exe created D843AE3E26A7.bin with size 2048k

Is 1.94 the latest firmware for the I225-V?

I'd also appreciate an updated package with 1.94 firmware for i225, but preferably with ETrackID set to MSI instead of Lenovo. The package from DJesko.Eu keeps giving me "nvmupdate.cfg" error, even though I updated it with correct information.

The latest NVMUpdateW64e.exe I can find is 1.43.36.0 and the latest Intel Diagnostic driver (iqvsw64e.sys) is 1.6.0.1, but the latest version of EEUpdateW64e.exe is difficult to find. I'd be willing to put it all together nicely in one package if someone can upload the modded firmware with correct CFG file that actually works without any additional files and/or backups. Again, I'd prefer to have ETrackID set to MSI instead of Lenovo.

There is also a new updated driver for i225/i226 that just came out - https://station-drivers.com/index.p...ller-3xxx-serie-drivers-version-2-1-5-12#6582

A bit off-topic, but has anyone tried flashing i226 firmware onto i225? Intel released quite a few i226 firmware update. Architecture is very similar and perhaps i226 firmware can work on i225 chips. EDIT: This thread indicates that flashing i226 firmware onto i225 chip is a bad idea - https://community.intel.com/t5/Ethe...225-V-rollback-mode-does-not-work/m-p/1707060 .

Run the command in the command line with administrator rights

nvmupdatew64e.exe -i -l inventory.txt

We receive a file inventory.txt with the following content:

nvmupdatew64e.exe -i -l inventory.txt

This is information about my network card before flash the firmware. We will take information from the inventory.txt file to edit the nvmupdate.cfg file

I edited nvmupdate.cfg like this:

CURRENT FAMILY: 1.0.0
CONFIG VERSION: 1.20.0

; NIC device
BEGIN DEVICE
DEVICENAME: Foxpond1_I225_15F2_V_1MB_1p94_800003FC
VENDOR: 8086
DEVICE: 15F3
SUBVENDOR: 1462
SUBDEVICE: 7D91

NVM IMAGE: Foxpond1_I225_15F3_V_1MB_1p94.bin
EEPID: 800003FC
EEPROM MAP: Foxpond_Map_File_v01.txt
RESET TYPE: REBOOT
IMAGE DOWNGRADE: TRUE
END DEVICE

This is the complete contents of my nvmupdate.cfg file, I removed all other lines.

You should not copy other people's settings - you need to enter your own according to the sample.

I could not find the current version of the program EEUpdateW64e.exe. I would be grateful if someone shared it.

I don't remember whether I ran SecureFiles.bat or nvmupdatew64e.exe directly.

That’s all well and good, but I need the 2MB version of this firmware—the one that includes PXE support.
Can anyone help with this?
It doesn't necessarily have to be version 1.94; I foolishly switched to the 1MB version 1.89, and now the option is missing from the BIOS.

I need any—or the latest—working i225 v3 15F3 2MB firmware with PXE for the MSI Z590 Pro; could someone provide the file? :-)

Thanks for the help.
