I am having a problem where my ethernet driver isn't working
I have tried reinstalling the driver by deleting it and restarting my pc, downloading driver from both msi site (I can't install the one from msi site because it said that network adapters are not detected or something) and intel site, and even reinstalled my windows, but none of them fixed this.

here are my specs
Motherboard : H410M PRO VH (MS-7C89)
Processor : Intel I5 10400f
Graphic : RX 550
Windows 10 Pro Version 20H2 OS Build 19042.867
Click Bios 5 ver E7C891MS.180

Same issue for me,
Specs: mb -mag b650 tomahawk wifi
Cpu - 7800x3d
Gpu- 9070xt
Windows 10

Please advise, I'm using an USB to Ethernet adapter right now and it's not great

Check PM
EDIT: Nope, you have some AMD board this won't work here and it's not the same issue.
Open new own topic in correct forum area for troubleshooting.

hello my motherboard isnt connecting to the internet, i have a MS-7D06

If you have some different issue open new own topic in correct area.
Check if your Ethernet adapter is functional correctly in device manager.
And if not, and you got error code 10 then this topic can possible to help.

My Realtek Gaming 2.5GbE Family Controller keeps dropping network connection.

It will lag my PC horribly, and then eventually drop. I disabled Windows power saving and uninstalled, reinstalled the drivers. No luck.

Any help is much appreciated.

Edit: No error code 10, and even after dropping network it shows it is functioning properly under device manager. Posted under the AMD motherboard forum.

Hi,

Since updating the BIOS to BD0 (motherboard: MSI MAG H610, MAG Infinite S3 14, i7-14700F), my onboard Ethernet Intel I219-V has stopped working. Device Manager shows Code 10 ("This device cannot start"), and the LED on the LAN port stays completely dark (tested with several cables). Wi-Fi works fine.

Already tried without success:

  • Reinstalled drivers (MSI, Intel, Windows – new/old, uninstalled with deletion)
  • LAN enabled in BIOS, also toggled Disabled→Enabled
  • CMOS clear + re-flashed BIOS BD0
  • Network reset, netcfg -d
  • Checked registry for Upper/Lower Filters (none present)
  • Windows repair install (in-place upgrade)
  • Checked CodeIntegrity log for WDAC blocking (no errors)

Is there a known fix, or is the LAN chip dead from the flash? Thanks!
