I'm using a Lynksys 1.2 gigabit wireless adapter that is 8 ft. line of sight away from the PC, a MAG B550 Tomahawk mother board, 32 gigs of ram, AMD Ryzen 7800 CPU, and a 500 mbps download internet connection.
I have been having a stuttering problem in my internet connection for a very long time and I believed it to be the providers fault as my machine will only show 269.00 mbps download speed. The tec checked all the wires and connection ends in the system and found that I was getting 480 mbps download speed to the computer, but only 250 mbps and enough stuttering and lag to impact everything. So, the issue is internal with the PC and the tec thought it could be a mother board problem. Any body ever heard of this?
