Is anyone here using MSI X58 motherboard and not having a problem w/ IOH temp?

I am wondering that does evey motherboard from msi x58 has the IOH temp?

We have 2 systems running perfect for several months.
With a good case ventilation (2-3 fans), the IOH temperature is less than 60C (under load!).

Chalk up another one for perfectly fine IOH temps! And I'm overclocking from 2.66 GHz to 3.32 GHz.

Out of 3 X58 Pro builds, 2 ran in the low 70's, 1 in the low 80's. All 3 were 'heatsink' reset with AS thermal compound & now run in the 60's. It probably wasn't really necessary for 2 of them, but redid them anyway.

Edit: If anyone chooses to redo the heatsinks, & needs hardware sizes to replace the stock plastic pins, I used #4-40, 1/2" in length nylon bolts, nuts, & washers. (3mmx1cm ? metric?)

My IOH temps do not cross 56C at full load now.

Steps taken:
Moved my "blazing" graphics card (freaking thing is hot enough to spew lava) on the port farthest away.
Installed a 120 mm case fan on the side of case (my psi armorx case has the option).

What you could also do?
Get one of those antec (mount anywhere) spot cool fans and point it close

IOH at 80C could be quite normal if you have a case sealed tighter than a B52 black box : -)

Depending on voltage, 42-55C.  IOH/ICH bolted down w/AS5 and a 50mm fan on IOH.
