@FelixSG post look good (y),,test this ;)

only for older NB ,,set first SHIFT - CUSTOM ,,and restore BALANCED POWER SCHEME
fan AUTO or CUSTOM
lees noise + not overheat example my 1070
20-20-30-50-60-100-gpu on my GT75 custom "oem ,.,example 20-40-50-60-80-100"
1200rpm 1200rpm 1800rpm 3000rpm 3600rpm 5000-6000 rpm
cpu ,,but is different 100w cfg 20-30-50-60-100-100 + adaptive "CENTER slider"
40-60C ilde/web works GPU or CPU ,,but different model + mods ,,full custom

only example for SCALE ,,custom fan curve ,,,end use aggressive ,,and fist point slower for lower noise :alien:

All of my drivers and BIOS are up to date and always have been, they update themselves automatically.

Everything in my laptop is in good shape, the problem is that the fan is broken. It needs to be replaced or at the very least given some oil so that it can rotate better. That's all. If I put both fans on turbo mode and check the rotations - the healthy fan spins at 6000rpm while the broken one achieves only 800rpm. That's the whole deal. I just want to stop the fan because it's not doing any work anyways, it's just trying to rotate at ~200rpm VERY loudly so if it's gonna overheat it'll do it with or without it being turned off. I get that not all fans can be turned off because why would you want to do that after all...but if there is a way, that's what I'm asking. If you could give me a clear path, (e.i. Control panel -> Nvidia -> Fans or smth, idk) as to what I should do, I'd be very appreciative, because I'm very bad at tech stuff and I have no clue what you want me to do right now...I benched everything and it looks good, drivers n BIOS r up to date, I tried setting up a "custom" fan speed on the Dragon center but it doesn't work so idk what to do..

EC control FANS / temperatures points
disconed gpu or fan ? - panic mode - full speed or any problem
need new fan - and don't risk
not working fan - passive kill ,,all get overheat ,.all dead faster "RAM/HDD/WIFI ,,VR /mosfet /Vram
some fans "GPU" not cooling only GPU --full NB is cooling from this fan

i mod similar my GT75 ..to many airs tunnels for highers possitible performance
air flow at NB is the basis for long therm working notebook :-)

Well I forced myself to not use the laptop for a couple of days n now I changed the fans so everything's working good...hopefully no more problems will show up in the next year or 2...

I'll reinstall the dragon center I guess just to see if anything changes although I doubt it, reinstalling usually doesn't fix anything (or at least for me).
