Is this RAM compatible with my laptop?

Hello, I currently own a MSI Cyborg 15 A12V. Currently it has a single 8GB 4800MHz DDR5 RAM stick which I'm looking to upgrade by adding another, the only issue is availability for laptop memory in my native country is a bit questionable.

Currently I was looking at purchasing this: https://us.transcend-info.com/product/module/ddr5/jm4800ase-16g

The only issue is, this RAM is apparently on-die ECC and I found somewhere online that the laptop has non-ECC RAM listed? I'm not sure if this RAM will still work or not if it's ECC and I use it on this laptop. If anyone could confirm I would greatly appreciate it.

In a similar vein, if I was to purchase a 5600MHz RAM would it still work on this laptop or not? Thank you.

If you purchase some RAM, make sure to buy Samsung, SK Hynix, G.Skill or Crucial (Micron)
Always better to buy a Dual Channel RAM Kit, 2x 8GB (16GB Total), 2x 16GB (32GB Total).
CL40 DDR5 4800Mhz
CL42 DDR5 5200Mhz
CL46 DDR5 5600Mhz

On the Transcend website, there is no compatible RAM listed for this model.
You can check on the Crucial website for the compatible RAM: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/msi(microstar)/cyborg-15-a12ve
You can purchase a 5600MHz RAM, but the actual speed would be limited by the CPU. Up to 4800 for the Intel 12th gen CPU.
Thank you for this, but isn't this laptop not compatible with 5600MHz? I read online that this can cause compatibility issues and the laptop may not even start or run.

For reference I currently have this RAM available to order: https://www.kingston.com/en/memory/search/model/107117/msi-notebook-cyborg-15-a12v-a13v

Would it work fine out of the box if I plugged the RAM in?

Kingston is not on the list of compatible RAM!
