Using the MSI Center I'm unable to adjust the mystic light feature. The mystic light option only leads to a "live update" page. I've uninstalled/reinstalled both the feature and MSI Center in it's entirety twice with not change. Any tips? Is there any other way to adjust/turn off the lights?

Yes, those are known issues. They are resolved now.
Connect PC to the internet and reboot the PC to re-fresh the Mystic Light.
This should fix it.

If still doesn't, then use this tool to complete remove MSI Center:

just did this and can confirm 3.0.16.6 did not fix the problem.
tomahawk z790 max wifi
msi 4080 super
i7 14700kf
windows 11 pro
rgb is useless without this fixed.
they still work as they flash at startup.
no issue till 3.0.16.4
attatched system info, have now tried clean master and reinstall several times and still no use of rgb / mystic light,,, can not delect rgb bank just says all, and saving anything does not activate lighting.

Nope.
MSI went into Chinese New Year, so I won't expect updates in next few weeks.

Software & BIOS development are from China/Taiwan only (not other regions),
it's normal not to work in weekends, official holidays.

when i contacted support direct on the 14th, they blew it off... said must be a bug, anything else you need? so going on day 14 with a non functioning motherboard... This does not make me want to continue to support msi products.

Not much to be done until they return from the official holidays.
Here is user to user forum.
You can try again to reinstall the MSI Center apps to see if can he fixed. Or reinstall the OS.

i understand this is a user forum, but after the lack of service from support i figured i would try here, unfortunately, this helped the decision of trying to see if i can just return this garbage to go with a better supported brand, just look at all the recent issues, not your fault, you just assist a poor customer oriented company!

Just an FYI, I tried an os repair, then cleanmaster, then reinstall center, still inop, so i tried a reinstall os, then cleanmaster, then reinstall center to no prevail.

after many failed attemts at advice, after multiple os reintalls, using old cleaner, not updated one, and installing 2.0.45.0 of center, i regained rgb. still unacceptable, but now its working.
