I had switched on my PC after a day of not using it and my mouse speed has suddenly become slower, and the DPI button is not working properly - whenever I click the DPI button it only lights up the dragon logo but doesn't change DPI speed.

Maybe you can change dpi in dragon center, but i give you advice to keep away from MSI stuff. I updated my mouse firmware and mouse is completely dead. Never gonna buy MSI stuff again.

Thank you! I didn't know it could be changed in Dragon Center - I only thought its the button that changed the DPI. Does the pointer speed correlate to DPI as well? Like on Windows 10, what should the default pointer speed be?

Hi, I have the same issue. every time I reboot my system, the mouse dpi will be reset to the lowest sensitivity and I need to open the dragon center and reset it to default to make if function according to its set configuration.

What's your mouse firmware version? You can check it in Dragon Center > Gaming Gear > Mouse, it should be at the lower left corner.
Version 309 is the latest one if I remember right.

I will try to reinstall Gaming Gear function in Dragon Center.
Here's how: Dragon Center > Support > System Info > click on the trash can icon to uninstall Gaming Gear > Dragon Center will restart itself. And go back to Support > Live Update > Scan > select Gaming Gear and install.
Maybe this can fix your issue.
